LBB Design was founded by Leslie Blau-Berlin in 2016. She has 20+ years experience in the advertising field starting as a graphic artist for newspapers and magazines. She has a BFA in illustration from Rhode Island School of Design and an associates degree in Web Design and Development from Camden County College.

As a trained web designer, Leslie is able to handle 90% of your web design needs using professional web dev platforms to build WordPress or HTML5 websites . WEB DESIGN

Your design will be custom crafted to reflect your organization's brand and specific needs. After establishing a style guide that includes a color scheme, selected fonts and a new logo, if necessary, we create a layout showing navigation flow and web page design. After your approval, we move on to building pages with content including articles and photos. We pull it all together, uploading it to a testing server for you to view before making your website live.

On staff is a photographer available to shoot head shots, product photos, portfolio pieces and whatever else you need for use on your website. Quality photos are recommended for best appearance. Our graphic artists optimize all photos for fast loading without sacrificing quality.

MAINTENANCE

When your website is complete you can have us maintain your site for you for a modest monthly fee. We will take care of hosting, backups, email account, updates and technical problems.

We will train you on how to log into your account to access your email and post new content (if Wordpress or other CMS). Most packages include Google and Facebook pages set-up. We will show you how to update both accounts.

WEB DESIGN PROCESS

Project Definition

We start by mapping out the project, focusing on your business goals and specific features and specifications.

    

Planning

We assess your specific needs with a thorough interview. You tell us all about your business and your vision for your website. We conduct user research and surveys, if necessary. We help you identify your target market and expected website users. We help you clarify what your needs truly are.

    

Design

We layout the site architecture and navigation of the site. We establish your company's branding by updating an old or designing a new logo. We create a style guide that reflects your company's culture. This includes color scheme, font selection, photos and illustrations.

We consider how the user will be approaching the website and design accordingly.

    

Development

Once a design has been approved, we will begin development of the web pages. Depending on the technical specifications of your project, we will either start with a framework or develop a custom layout based on our mockups. You will be given access to the test server where you can watch your website taking shape as it is being built.

    

Testing

The completed website is tested on a live server, viewed on various browsers and devices to ensure it is working properly and is mobile-friendly. All forms on your site are tested for proper function. Finally, we check to ensure the coding used to build the site complies with current standards.

    

Launch

After thorough testing and with your approval, we launch the site live. Your new website will be promoted on your preferred social media channels for exposure.

    

Maintenance

We offer hosting and monthly maintenance of your website which includes backup, domain-based email, SSL certificate, updates, troubleshooting and search engine optimization.
